At the end of the workshop you will be able to:

· Understand the terminology relating to Business Continuity.

· Understand the benefits of implementing a Business Continuity Strategy, Business Continuity Plan and incident management (disaster recovery) plan

· Understand business impact analysis and risk assessment by identifying potential threats and their likely impact

· Understand ways in which risks can be reduced, avoided or transferred

· Consider methods of testing and checking the plan to ensure its continued validity

· Understand how to embed business continuity management into your organisation’s culture 

Anyone who needs to develop a Business Continuity Plan in their organisation. This workshop is particularly relevant to those working with the Law Society’s Lexcel Standard.
