This is a nationally approved 2 day course designed to ensure that people are provided with the skills and knowledge to become an effective Internal Reviewer.  On completion of the training, internal reviewers are able to gather evidence against the requirements internally and to understand where they currently stand against the Framework.  Internal Review is a powerful tool in maintaining IIP recognition and ensuring continuous improvement.

See attached information.  Please note you are required to complete a pre course exercise and possibly a post course exercise depending on training chosen.

There are 2 levels of training available:

2 days training + approval and ongoing development.  This enables internal reviewers to contribute evidence to and assist with post recognition IIP reviews.  £650+VAT

2 days training only.  There is no approval process and therefore internal reviewers may not contribute to subsequent reviews.  Ideal for those who wish to become facilitators only.  £350+VAT

To take part in the programme, you should:

• Be working in an organisation which has achieved IIP recognition
• Have been selected for the programme by your employer

Although the programme is more suited to larger more complex organisations, anyone who wishes to learn more about evidence gathering is welcome.

To maintain their continuing competence Internal Reviewers need to practice their skills on regular basis and in most organisations this takes the form of completing ‘health checks’ and supporting ongoing organisational development.  It would be usual to expect that this will take up 2-3 weeks of a person’s working year, a factor that needs to be understood by Reviewers and their line managers
